In addition to Andrew, Robert is also one of our primary instructors. Robert has been in the HVAC field as technician and owner for over four decades. Coming out of Oregon, his experience has proved most valuable.
Today Andrew reviewed wiring… an important element in all HVAC systems. To break it down: HVAC low-voltage wiring typically operates on a 24-volt circuit supplied by a step-down transformer inside the furnace or air handler. It acts as the control system—or “messenger”—telling high-voltage relays when to turn the compressor, blower motor, or heating elements on and off.
From low voltage wiring, to system birth (new system swap), to diagnostics and troubleshooting, to component testing and replacement, to the end (scrapping), you will do it all.
