HVACTA: Term Final Day

Recognizing HVAC Technicians need to be familiar with a wide array of HVAC issues, we get each participant equipped to recognize issues through Clarity, Choice, Confidence, and Competence. As the term ends, all get their hands on scrapping ac units.

When it comes to scrapping, technicians must ensure the refrigerant has been professionally and legally evacuated. Each participant uses their own tools, checks systems, and recovers accordingly. To note, venting refrigerant into the air is illegal and carries hefty fines. Speaking of which, tomorrow all will be taking the Universal 608 Exam here at the facility.

When it comes to scrapping…

* First and foremost, proper PPE is required, including safety glasses, gloves, sturdy boots, and 100% attention.
* Having the proper tools is also a must. At HVAC Technical Academy, the right tools and PPE are part of the package… we got you covered.

Wanting to know the full scrapping procedure and reasons why, share on comments and will dedicate a full submission just for you.

We are a training facility where “Learn by Doing” defines our approach to get YOU on a career path. Background friendly, HVAC Technical Academy partnered with 2nd Chance University and to assist ALL desiring personal and professional success.
